" Maybe Red was just thinking of what Oak would say? In the newer games, the message says something like " Professor So-and-So's words rang in 's head:, there's a time and a place for everything, but not right now.is Oak spying on Red through some camera footage or something? So if you try to use a specific item in an area it can't be used, you get a message from Oak saying, "! You can't use that here!" Um.They're simply not needed and are unnecessary.
