Well, 95 percent of this material is taken from a draft of a "Pokémon" fic that I was planning on doing late last year, a story that I ultimately decided to not pursue because I was still having some writer's block at the time. Interestingly enough, I was actually already done writing this one-shot before I knew I was going to do it. The knowledge of this one-year anniversary inspired me to post a one-shot about it. Still, more AmourShipping goodness would've been, well, good, but what can I do?Īnyway, yeah.
Later, I managed to see the episode, and it was AMAZING! It was great to see Serena doing so well in Contests and shining as her own person, defined not just by AmourShipping. Then, I heard about magazine leaks, and I saw them, and I was absolutely floored. The whole concept sounded like something out of a fanfic. At first, I dismissed them as good fanart, since I was aware of pretty good fan-artists out there who were capable of making fantastic stuff. I remember when promotional photos of her with Chloe and Lisia were leaked online, triggering a whole bunch of wild reactions from the community. It's just come to my attention that today is the one-year anniversary of JN105, the episode in which Serena makes her triumphant return in the anime. Hey, everyone! Yes, that's right, I had enough time to do this.
